have someone passed safetycheck on custom rom ? <4.4.4 ? i tried lineage14.1 cm13 cm12 and all basic integrity and cts profile has false

Hello there.

First of all, my thanks go out to the OP for this great contribution to the community and making it possible to still use this tablet.

I use this ROM on my kid's T560 so he can watch cartoons and play a few games and it performs smoothly.

However, everytime I try to recharge the battery when the tablet is off the screen lights up with a big white battery icon with a lightning inside and there is no way I can exit this screen unless I force a restart with VOL DOWN + POWER. Also, it seems the tab does not charge at all while the screen is like this.

Can anyone please provide me some assistance with this? This is a great ROM and this is the only thing getting in its way to perfection IMHO.

Hello mister, I used this rom only for read porpuses, and I had charge problems, but, it's because the original charger it was working bad, I don't known why, but I changed the charger and get the device fully charged in less time, with the original charger get the device fully charged after many many hours, maybe you need to change the charger for another, or try to charge the device when still it's on, but remember this is an old device with a custom rom, needs more power to work. Sorry my bad english

Things you have to flash :
Los14 zip
Boot.img for fixing the ram
Softkeys zip for fixing the soft buttons

Also remember to activate airplane mode even if we don't have sim or battery will drain. And disable livedisplay for better performance.

On my PC data transfer works normally with USB, just don't boot the tablet while it's connected or it will bootlop and break the cache partition. probably a problem with microsd since I have one inserted

In general follow the linked thread for all the tips.

Would anyone still have access to these files? None of the gearappsnap links seem to work for me.. Many thanks!

    Here guys I have tried both cm 12.1 and cm 13 on my SM-T560 and they both work but what I can say is that they are for the SM-T561 which has the exact same chip set but because we don't have a simcard tray we can't make phone calls but at least we have lolipop and marshmallow here is the link for cm 12.1

    And if you want to try cm 14.1 I have tried it and it works great but please install Pico gapps as it runs smoother And also if you want root on lineage 14.1 then use supersu V 2.79 then update it in the app or you can just use the root that comes with the Rom that comes pre installed

    Like I said this custom ROMs are for the SM-T561 but so was the lightning ROM but it flashed on no bother so don't worre I have flashed all 3 on and they worked for me also here is the link for superuser flashable zip file

    Flashed CM13 on my SM-T560 and it works really well. Installed Magisk and Xposed and no complaints so far. Since it's for the T561, you'll get the 'No Sim Card' icon and warning, but can be easily removed with Gravity Box for MM in Xposed.

    TBH, I would have preferred CM14.1, but the link @Andropop1 posted leads to a Grand Prime version that won't install, and haven't found any other link over the net... In any case, CM13 works perfectly, so for those who want to give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

    Hi,

    I've started to port LineageOS cm-14.1 to SM-T560/gtelwifi. You can checkout local_manifest here and build a userdebug package yourself:

    github.com/olliiiver/local_manifest

    What works:

    - Multitouch
    - Screen
    - Wifi
    - Battery info
    - Double tap to wake (included that into the kernel and ts driver)

    What's not working:

    Anything else.

    I will mainly use the tablet for home automation (Fully browser and FHEM tablet UI interface), so currently I reached my personal goal - "Works for me".

    However, it should be easy to implement all the other stuff like sound, codecs etc...
    Thanks a lot... I was wondering if there were someone concerned about porting lineage for sm-t560(gtelwifi).

    Do you know if there are plans to port a newer version of lineage for this device?
    I don't own this device. A friend gave me his tab for a few days and that's what i got so far.
    Everything else is up to the non existing community.
