i hopefully found a workaround by blocking "ota.googlezip.net" with adaway.
i logged dns traffic with adaway and found that url. blocked it and since yesterday the trafficounter of system updates doesnt increase. will see next days if it really helped with battery drain too.

i can confirm it works. no more battery drain (3% in 10hrs today) and no data usage from system updates anymoreGood news. Waiting for your further information.

Holy cow, in about 3 hours I lost only 3-4%, so I believe this is a fix!Will do the same using personalDNSfilter, and I will also block "ota-cache1.googlezip.net";

You can use this module : https://github.com/kdrag0n/safetynet-fix with Riru.after reinstall the ROM, I cannot pass safetynet CTS. Can you advise your Magisk setting to me ? Thanks

which version magisk you use ? did you use MHPC? Any hidden in MagiskHide ?

I've repacked the app (APP>Custom Channel in the settings), maybe it can change something !

Could there be also another App that is causing the high Mobile Data Usage? I do not have ota.googlezip at my Phone...I'm also facing the same Problems...i hopefully found a workaround by blocking "ota.googlezip.net" with adaway.
