I know you haven't posted about the build yet but I tried to flash your 20211023 build of LOS19.0 and was sent to the bootloop zone 😢😛

back to LOS18.1 😂
Probably requires a full data wipe.

@follwmsi What is the status of your 19.0 build. Will you post about it in this thread? Thank you!

No, really easy.
Gave this a shot last night, and yes it was really easy. Literally just did exactly the 5 steps listed in the instructions and the update worked.

Just renamed the folder to "12-development" .. if there are any really "usable" builds I will let you know - for sure.

Comparing with previous major updates .. for android 12 there are actually not too much changes required to build successfully.
But as you realized it does not boot successfully .. due to graphics issues .. and maby more.

Uploaded another new build today .. Lineage team did inlcude more repos and several changes. Still had to cherry-pick a lot of missing changes .. and there are still tons of changes missing to make pure AOSP to Lineage.

As well I did applied a "hack" to make graphics (hopefully) work.
Some Camera components have been taken out temporarily.

The goalof the new build is to see lineage bootanmiation .. at least for a short while
I did not test the new build myself .. not yet.

@michie is also working on Android 12 .. Pixel Experience seems to be a bit quicker as Lineage. PE merged already more changes to make custom ROM really usable.

We will see .. if and when will have "proper" Lineage-19.0 for dragon.

Cheers

Android Pie

lineage-16.0-20191017-UNOFFICIAL-dragon.zip -> DISCONTINUED

Known issues:

- Encryption seems not to work - and has not been tested. -> Pls do not encrypt your data partition yet !
- Keymaster -> If you set Pattern, PIN or Password the Screen unlock may not work correctly.
Workaround for Pattern: On fresh boot you will need to wait a bit longer before you enter credentials.
The waiting time is required on fresh boot only, the following unlocks are working normally.
In case of problems pls use Update.ZIP_TWRP_flashable_pattern_pin_remover_V2.zip to remove pattern/pin or password.

Installation:
1. Boot into TWRP (latest available version)
2. Wipe system, cache, dalvik and data partitions ! ( If you have encrypted /data partition - pls "format" /data via TWRP first ! )
3. Install lineage-16.0-201Yxxyy-UNOFFICIAL-dragon.zip
4. Install Opengapps
5. install Magisk.zip (tested with 18.x)
6. Reboot into system ..

- The ROM does contain it's own vendor.img ! (If you go back to Oreo, pls reinstall stock vendor.img)

And big thanks to @NYCHitman1 (Dirty Unicorn) !
Without his work the Android Pie project would not have been possible !

I have uploaded the last official Lineage Oreo build to androidfilehost.com ..

Enjoy LineageOS on your Pixel C ..
Hi, I tried to flash your version of Lineage 18.1. I formatted Data and wiped my System, however I got this error :
"This package is for "dragon" devices;"

Found another post here with the same issue, and you mentioned that you had to remove some part of the code and re-zip it again. Would you pls do the same for this one (your Lineage 18) ? Or let us know which file needs to be modified ? Thank you.

Maybe shield 11 image will help us.
For now we have used just one single lib fro shield images (vulkan.tegra.so) .. the other libs/blobs do have compatibilty issues with the existing dragon libs .. we would have to start from scatch - just with shield libs/blobs.

We will see when/if we get Android 12 running on dragon ..

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this but search just kept bringing me back here so here goes.

I recently pulled my pixel c out of a drawer to give to my niece and discovered it was only android 8 (shows how much i used it) as it is well and truly out of support i thought i would see to getting it up to 11 with lineage using TWRP but want to check something.

So i have the adb and run adb devices from CMD, i can see device. Great
run adb reboot bootloader, get waiting for fastboot command on tablet. Great
run fastboot flash recovery twrp.img, get the following:-

Sending 'recovery' (16496 KB) OKAY [ 0.437s]
Writing 'recovery' FAILED (remote: 'unsupported command')
fastboot: error: Command failed

I can only get it to go by using "fastboot oem unlock"

I have now got into TWRP and installed Lineage is that correct? Or have i balls up somewhere that may cause my niece issues down the road?

Thanks in advance
