翻译笔记之一：关于改动原文的思考¶
译者在进行翻译的时候，经常会碰到这样一个问题： 如果原文写得不（够）好，译者要不要自己来改？
我的做法是，只要是真的有需要的话，就坚定地改。
举个例子， 在《Redis in Action》第136页第一段， 原文在介绍完一个任务队列之后， 马上就打算用“But what …”引出下一节， 但这句话语焉不详， 根本没办法起到预期的作用， 所以我在翻译的时候就进行了修改： 修改后的句子有了基本的承前启后， 比原文要来得更为自然。

类似以上提到的修改，在书中还有很多很多。
当然，这种修改也有风险，因为译者自己的理解可能会有误； 编辑发现原文和译文不一样，对此也可能会有疑问； 也可能会有读者因为“翻译不忠实原文”而不买你的书…… 但我认为译者就应该把自己的理解注入到译文当中， 让译文比原文更好， 而不仅仅是翻译那么简单。
