2013年，夏普面向日本市场推出了SharpAQUOSPHONEXx手机。当时市场审美逐渐被iPhone均衡的外观所统治，于是国内媒体标注的评语包括“另类”“怪异”“东瀛风”，当然还有一个更为关键的词：无边框。（至今为止，几乎所有全面屏手机的宣传海报都能找到这张创作于2013年的海报的影子）
