You just need to switch rethinkdns from DNS+Firewall mode to just Firewall mode. This will continue to block updates via the firewall and revert to your regular DNS. Eg: Your ISP provider.
I think it will possibly be fixed on rethinkdns servers end after some certificate update.
I think something has changed. My tablet (HD10 2019) that uses this method for months now, is showing no internet inside rethinkdns this morning. I've tried a few things. Rethink shows no internet and I get no internet. I can access my wifi fine. Weirdly Telegram is the only app getting internet. Doesn't appear to be a dns thing, tried a couple. Tried putting an ip in my brower and it resolved it correctly but still said no internet.i followed the steps. i get 'no internet', even after a restart. tried toggling various settings, and still can't get internet. any solutions?
Only things blocked are the per the guide, amazon/updates. I'm on 7.3.2.2 and as far as I am aware changed nothing overnight. I'm using the override home button for custom launcher. I'm just using rethink, not the metered connection for blocking. Weird. Realistically it must be a rethink issue right? Hmm
Edit: So yeah there is some fault with how rethinkdns is handling dns that is beyond me. Where it shows STOP above no internet, if you switch to Firewall mode from DNS and Firewall (default) it should work fine again, it'll say protected and you'll have the internet once more.## SPAM/WAREZ ALERT ##

per Amazon dev specs and the Amazon Store details, it doesn't look like NFC or GPS were enabled on Fire HD10 13th Gen (2023) , even though a FCC compliance statement included both on a similarly spec'ed device in February, 2023.
