The Xiaomi 13 series was supposed to launch this week alongside MIUI 14, but it got postoponed alongside launches from Huawei, iQOO, and MediaTek. We still got some details on the Xiaomi 13 Pro's camera system. It will use the 1-inch type main camera from the 12S Ultra - a Sony IMX898 sensor. The 3x telefphoto camera will have a floating lens, helping it to focus as close as 10cm when needed. We also saw a changelog for MIUI 14 with more customization options, an all-new widget format, a focus on privacy, and more.

Corning unveiled the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with much-improved drop resistance. Smartphones adorned with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 are expected to reach the market in the next few months but Corning isn't naming any names just yet.

ZTE announced a limited version of the Axon 40 Ultra, dubbed the Space Edition. It has 18GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a ceramic back. It's China-bound and will cost CNY 7,700 ($1,075/€1,035/₹88,000) with the aforementioned RAM and storage.

The Infinix Zero 5G 2023 was another announcement from the past week, coming with a Dimensity 1080 chip, a 6.78-inch 120Hz display, a 50MP main camera, and a $239 starting price tag. Word is still out on which markets will get it and when.

New Oppo Find N2 specs arrived. The foldable will have two Samsung E6 AMOLED displays with 120Hz resolution - a 5.54-inch cover display, and a 7.1-inch inner one. We also saw a video hands-on on the Oppo Find N2 Flip.

Finally, Apple's M2 Max processor was benchmarked in Geekbench on an unreleased MacBook Pro. The chip has a 12-core processor - that's two physical cores more than the M1 Max, while the laptop itself has 96GB of RAM, which is more than the current configurable 64GB of the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops.
