We may a little while away but we're already thinking about what's coming up in this year's Best Buy Black Friday deals. Right here, we've pulled together everything we learned from last year's deals hunt and what the best offers were, plus given some early predictions for what to expect in 2022 so you can make your money go further.

Black Friday 2022 may fall on November 25 this year, but it's guaranteed that a vast number of deals will be available throughout the whole month as retailers, including Best Buy, launch their sales way ahead of time. The start date for these Black Friday sales has got even earlier over recent years, so you no longer need to wait until the day itself to get the best bargains.

Some of the biggest deals we expect to see this year at Best Buy are on TVs, laptops, Apple products, electric scooters and small kitchen appliances. These categories have seen some of the most significant discounts in previous sales events over the last 12 months. Based on that, there's a good chance that similar deals will return over Black Friday, along with some better-than-ever discounts on new tech and popular products.

In the weeks ahead, look out for many more updates as we get closer to this year's Best Buy Black Friday deals. We'll update this page frequently, keeping you informed of exactly what's coming up and all the unmissable deals. Bookmark this page and get a head start when the shopping frenzy begins!

Today's best deals at Best Buy

If you're looking to shop today there are regular deals available each week at Best Buy across many of the retailer's most popular categories. We've gathered up some of the best sales live today just below for those interested in having a browse.

When will the Best Buy Black Friday sale start?

We don't know for certain, but we predict that the first Best Buy Black Friday deals in 2022 will arrive in early-to-mid November. The official date of Black Friday is November 25, but we're expecting a similar situation to last year, which saw loads of deals trickle in well before the day itself.

In fact, compared to a few years ago, we saw relatively few big bargains exclusively available on Black Friday, so if there's something on offer that you like the look of, it's worth bagging it when you see it to avoid any stock issues that might crop up.

However, at Best Buy, Black Friday proper still hosts the largest number of deals at the same time, so if you're more of a window shopper (rather than having your eye on a particular product), it's well worth checking in over the Black Friday weekend to see if anything interesting drops.

Best Buy Black Friday deals: what to expect

Befitting one of the country's biggest tech stores, Best Buy Black Friday deals typically focus on consumer technology goods like TVs, audio equipment and headphones, laptops, PC components, and cell phones.

However, last year we saw a huge range of items including kitchen gadgets, health and beauty items, the latest wearables and smart tech, plus tons more.

As we get closer to the time, we'll of course update this section to give a more informed roundup of what we expect to see. However, below we've included some of the tops deals we found last year to give you a taste.

Were there any stock issues with last year's Best Buy Black Friday deals?

With the shopping landscape affected by COVID-19 and delivery issues, we were worried we might see stock issues plague last year's Black Friday – especially when it came to the very hottest products.

Unsurprisingly, we did see the tastiest deals get snapped up in a matter of hours, with some culprits being the best-priced Chromebooks and Apple products like the AirPods Pro.

However, it seemed like Best Buy was staggering its stock, as throughout the weekend we saw a number of products revived, meaning on each day of the sale the best deals were once again available. By the end of the weekend and into the Best Buy Cyber Monday deals, though, hot sellers were well and truly unavailable.

So, we'd recommend buying when you see a deal, but it's definitely worth checking in frequently to see if there's been a re-up.

When do Best Buy's stores open on Black Friday?

Best Buy Black Friday deals aren't only available online, and although we're seeing a growing trend of shoppers staying at home, brick-and-mortar stores are still worth visiting if you have the time or inclination.

Stores typically open 5am on Black Friday, although you'll want to definitely check in with Best Buy's local store index (opens in new tab) closer to the date to confirm when your nearest store will be opening. Here's a quick roundup of the expected opening times over the Black Friday period at Best Buy:

  • Black Friday, Nov 25: 5am - 10pm
  • Saturday, Nov 26: 9am - 10pm
  • Sunday, Nov 27: 10am - 8pm

Save $60
- Matching the lowest price we've ever seen on Apple's top of the range in-ear earphones, this is an excellent deal. Unfortunately you'll have to buy the keyboard cover separately, but that's just how Microsoft does its thing.

Image

Save $101
- The WH-CH710N can't quite match up to the XM4s, but for less than $80 they pack a serious punch. At full price we said they delivered plenty of features for the cost, and now at the cheapest price we've ever seen them (by far!) they're certainly worth checking out for your everyday pair of cans.

Image

Save $7
- If you're after a cheap but very usable pair of earbuds, the GO Air POPs from JLab should fit the bill. While they're not going to rival those costing $100+, as a spare pair or for listening to podcasts as you go about your daily tasks, they really can't be beaten.

Image

Apple AirPods Max: $549 $479 at Best Buy
Save $70
– It's not quite the lowest price we've ever seen (that was $449 earlier this month) but this is still a solid price cut on Apple's premium AirPods Max headphones.
