[ROM][12][BECKHAM] PixelExperience 12 OFFICIAL [AOSP]

XT1929-8 here. Yesterday I'm made an upgrade to 12 with instructions from the second post. Everything works for now. But I have a few questions:
  1. I don't know how to describe it but sometimes there's a wave passing thru screen, from the bottom to the upper corner. What it is and what does it mean? Do you have it?
  2. How to change this awful Samsung-style clock on the lock screen? Clock sometimes appears on the upper left corner of the lock screen but mainly it shows as 3 digits in two rows.
  3. Is the Plus version planned? @jeferson1979

The wave is charging animation. If you are using moto battery mod
The clock is default in Pixel, so, live with
Plus must arrive this month

Can I use plus version with non-plus version data? Should I format the data partition after installing plus version when my phone is working on the regular version now?

Added call recording support
Fixed biometric authentication on some apps – mainly banking apps
That issue has been fixed on the source side and rolled out in this update
MotoCamera as default camera app

THIS IS A RETROFFITED BUILD. IF YOU ARE FLASHING BY FIRST TIME, YOU MUST FOLLOW THIS INSTRUCTIONS
1- You need Pixel Experience recovery installed (MANDATORY -TWRP WON'T WORK)
If you are on PixelExperience 11 you already must have installed, it works. if not, download from PE website
2-You need to install retrofit zip to convert your device Download here: https://mega.nz/file/DAU1hABZ#0CjaYVAYntkIjKN2R_6qtCSKCKvIoPh1lDtXyrl0_gM
3- Go to PixelExperience recovery and format your data, then sideload or install from sdcard previosly downloaded retrofit.zip. Format your data and reboot to recovery.
4-Download the updated build of PixelExperience from here, sideload or move to your sdcard and install the updated system, format your data and done
FAQ:
1- Can I install magisk in this retrofited system? yes, you can either sideload by adb or install from sdcard renaming magisk.apk to magisk.zip
2- Why the hell use the retrofited system? Our system partition is small. Retrofited system allow us to ship all the pixel goodies
3- How do I go back to the old schema: Easy as you converted: - Pick any rom with a/b schema (eg lineage or PE 11) - Reboot recovery - Format data - Flash a/b zip -Done
DO NOT USE TWRP FOR RETROFITED ROMS, IT WILL BREAK YOUR PARTITIONS

It's from source side, you should be able to record a phone call when using phone app. I didn't tested myself

I tested and did work (in Brazil); you have to click in the record button during a call.
The recorded audio is available in the call history; from there you can listen to it or even share it.

Didn't tested yet, but it was working last time, should work on this

On Android 12 I have the same issue with the Incipio car dock as on Android 11 PE. The phone is not detecting that is disconnected from the dock. After disconnecting the phone from the car dock screen is rotating in every direction, no matter if screen rotation is enabled or not. Only reboot helps.
On stock Android 9 proper behavior was:
  • the phone is connected to the car dock - the screen is rotating with the phone
  • the phone is disconnected from the car dock - the screen is always in portrait mode, less autorotation is on.

Would you mind help me sending a log? You can use syslog app available at Play store, I can't reproduce here. Btw, you will need root for that process

Split screen doesn't work. It always goes back to home screen.

i updated from phone option. some comments:
-call racorder option is present but I couldn't record
-scaling animation, in developers options, now remember the setting 0.5x (before it was forgotten with each reboot)
-AptX HD issue continues, you need to deativated every time you conect with one bluetooh receiver that suport it and start the play

Strange here the record option did work -- note that it may work only for direct calls (one to one) and not group calls; to hear it use the call history and click in the play icon; click in the speaker icon as well to hear it as media.

I never had the animation scale issue you had, i use it at 0.5x as well since forever

i forget to mention, moto cam works perfect same as in original Pie ROM

    This is just a one-off problem that this user is experiencing or is it ROM wide? I'm using PE11 looking at 12 since it is stable now.

    Motocamera will be available on next update
