[建设纪实] 保定动物园搬迁工程｜确定搬迁满城区
前言
保定动物园始建于1921年，系时任直隶督军的曹锟创建，故有“曹锟花园”之称。解放后逐渐发展成一座以饲养、繁殖、展览、保护野生动物为主的综合性公园，1953年更名为保定动物园。
保定市动物园现占地250余亩，院内保留有明显古城墙、古建筑“别有洞天”、华北太湖石假山等人文景点；百年古树及多种乔灌木错落有致，四季花卉掩映其间，风景秀丽，景色宜人。
2022年满城工作报告说到，满城将区积极承接保定市动物园搬迁，完善周边功能配套，促进山水城人和谐共融。
此次搬迁，将为保定古城保护更新提供条件，同时将提高动物园硬件和服务水平。
