UPDATE:
Out of an abundance of caution related to SARS-CoV-2 and delta variants thereof, this will be a tele-presence meetup on Google Meet. Everyone is welcome.
The meeting link will also be shared via the Matrix chat room. Please join the chat for additional announcements and friendly banter about Rust:

*We ask that you please update your RSVP in the same manner as if it was a physical meeting, and similarly endeavor to be punctual.* We reserve the right to restrict access to the conference after it has begun to minimize disruptions. No-shows are bad for group morale, but it's easy to fix! Just update your RSVP :)
Are you a Rust noob? That's ok! People of all skill levels are welcomed. We'll point you in the right direction and help get you started.
San Diego Rust meets the second Thursday of every month.
Meeting Prep:
A laptop with the Rust compiler already installed. Visiting https://www.rust-lang.org/learn/get-started is highly recommended. If you don't have a laptop, no worries, we usually share a screen on projectors/TVs in the meeting space so everyone in a group can watch as the meeting exercise comes together.
Meeting Agenda:
1. Greet ( Lol, no pizza for tele-meetups )
2. Meeting agenda TBA
3. Short project presentations
4. General questions and educational assistance
