继Louis Vuitton在11月28日发布男装艺术总监Virgil Abloh离世消息后，近日据来自《英国太阳报（The Sun）》的有关消息称：Virgil Abloh的好友Kanye West或将成为LV新创意总监。
坎耶·维斯特（Ye），曾用名Kanye Omari West，歌迷习惯称呼他“ Kanye West”或“侃爷”，以美国嘻哈说唱歌手的身份被大家熟知，迄今为止已经获得了21个格莱美奖。
相比火爆的音乐之路，侃爷的时尚之路就颇为坎坷。2005年，Kanye West首次尝试推出「Pastelle」服装品牌。2009年，Kanye West曾和Virgil Abloh一同去往LVMH旗下品牌Fendi进行实习。2011年，Kanye West再次申请中央圣马丁时装设计专业，遗憾被校方拒绝。2012年1月5日，Kanye West宣布成立创意设计公司DONDA。同年，他与Nike联手合作，双方的第二代合作款Nike Air Yeezy 2也成为了年度大家最关注的球鞋之一。当时这双鞋在部分二级球鞋市场价格甚至被炒到2万以上，目前价格仍在升值且居高不下。
Nike Air Yeezy 2随后，Kanye West告别Nike转投adidas，推出品牌Yeezy。作为AJ最大的竞品之一，Yeezy被鞋迷们长期追随着，在商业市场上也始终保持着较高的保值率。
