10月10日，全球最大的独立广告公司 Wieden+Kennedy 联合创始人大卫·肯尼迪（David Kennedy），一位广告界的传奇人物与世长辞，享年82岁。
大卫·肯尼迪于1939 年出生于堪萨斯州，1962年后在芝加哥开始了他的广告生涯，先后就职于Young & Rubicam、Leo Burnett、Needham、McCann Erickson......1982 年，他和丹·维登 (Dan Wieden) 在波特兰一家没有电话的地下室成立了 Wieden+Kennedy，彼时他们所有的电话都是通过附近的公用电话拨打的。
当时还不为人知的服饰品牌耐克成为该机构的第一个客户，在Wieden+Kennedy的帮助下，耐克从鲜为人知的服装公司成为全球运动巨头，Wieden+Kennedy也成为广告界最受欢迎的机构之一。
1995 年肯尼迪从广告业退休，回到艺术和焊接领域，从事青铜、钢和铜的雕塑工作以及公益事业。
在他辞世后，Wieden+Kennedy在其社交媒体上临时更名以纪念肯尼迪，并写道：“大卫·肯尼迪，1939年5月31日 - 2021年10月10日。您的遗产和精神将永远活在我们的心中和我们的创作中。”
