研究发现，通过模仿人类视觉工作的原理，AI 软件能打败最广泛使用的区分计算机和人类的图灵测试——Google 的 reCAPTCHA。如果算法能以 1% 的成功率通过测试，那么这种 CAPTCHA 就被认为无效了。湾区创业公司 Vicarious 的 AI 软件能以 66.6% 的正确率通过 reCAPTCHA 测试，以 64.4% 的精度通过 BotDetect， Yahoo 是 57.4%，PayPal 为 57.1%。Vicarious 使用了名叫递归皮层网络（RCN）的神经网络，而且不需要多少训练数据。他们的研究论文发表在《科学》期刊上，公司创始人、论文主要作者 Dileep George 表示，他们的系统能用相对少的例子学习，就像人脑一样。Vicarious 称他们用人类的视觉系统建模了 RCN。他们的发现显示基于文本的验证码正逐渐过时。 </div
