不得不承认的是，给一款产品中的型号加个X是个很酷炫的做法。在苹果这么干之后，华为似乎也决定跟进一波。@evleaks在自己推特上表示“即便华为Mate10倍命名为华为MateX，我也不会感到意外”。说来也有意思，华为Mate系列今年正好也应该推出型号为Mate10的新品。X这个英文字母在罗马数字中正好也代表着“10”。
