在过去几个月中，华尔街分析师都预测 iPhone X 将吸引大量 iPhone 用户完成升级，引起换机浪潮。不过，凯基证券分析师郭明池浸提预测，所谓的“换机浪潮”可能要等到 2018年了。

郭明池提到，iPhone X TrueDepth 相机系统的生产问题可能要等到 2018 年才会解决，这也意味着 iPhone X 的产能将一直无法满足消费者需求。同时，他认为苹果 2018 年发布的新款 iPhone 要比 iPhone X 享受更长的销售时间。明年的新款 iPhone 将保留 iPhone X 很多吸引人的功能。
郭明池预测，。今年 iPhone 的出货量将在 2.1-2.2 亿左右，而明年将达到 2.45-2.55 亿。最后，郭明池提到 iPhone X 如果能在第四季度解决生产问题，出货量会在 2018年迎来大幅增长。
