科学家在芯片上用声波储存光基信息
悉尼大学的科学家首次在计算机芯片上实现用声波储存光基信息，朝着光子计算机迈出了关键一步。研究报告发表在《Nature Communications》期刊上。光子计算机的运行速度潜在能比现有的电子计算机快至少 20 倍，它是用光子而不是电子来处理数据。这说起来容易但做起来困难，因为微芯片跟不上光子的速度。研究人员的方法是将光转变成声波降速处理。研究人员称，虽然速度降低了，但光子计算机将在商业上变得可行，能够进行处理、传递、存储和访问等操作。
