联通拟从2018年4月1号起，新办理的联通卡将不再支持2G网络，2019年彻底关闭所有联通用户的2G网络。也就是说，不久后，联通卡只能使用3G及以上的网络，2001年2G网络正式诞生，十多年后的今天，2G终于要退出历史舞台了。
