今年一月初，下一代互联网国家工程中心正式宣布推出IPv6公共DNS，并在北京、广州、芝加哥、伦敦、法兰克福等多地部署了递归节点，将向全球免费提供公共DNS服务。在2017年发布的《推进互联网协议第六版（IPv6）规模部署行动计划》中也曾明确，至2018年底实现国内IPv6活跃用户数2亿，2020年达5亿。
