Any way to delete the forced ios downloads now?
My iPhone is on 11.1.2. Apple pushed 11.2.1 to my phone without my permission (but that's how they do things these days). Previously, we could go into iPhone Storage and delete the forced patch. That would silence the reminders and free up the Gs of space it takes until I was ready to install the patch. Now it seems there's no way to delete the downloaded patch, or is there??
I'm finished responding to fanboy responses and those who can't reason their way out of a wet paper bag. This should concern anyone. It isn't just about this build, it's about all future builds. Do you really just blindly install whatever Apple pushes to your device without doing your research first? That's not the safest or smartest thing to do.
Thanks /u/hunter_reddit for mentioning how to block these in the future. I've never felt the need to do that since Apple provided a way to delete the files - granted, it annoys me that they push it without permission in the first place, but at least it could be safely removed. Now? Apparently not. I look forward to any legitimate answers.
