卫星实验证实爱因斯坦的弱等效原理
等效原理是爱因斯坦广义相对论中的一个重要理论，在具有相同加速度的引力场中，引力质量及惯性质量相等。等效原理有弱等效原理和强等效原理，其中弱等效是指观测者不能在局部的区域内分辨出由加速度所产生的惯性力或由物体所产生的引力。去年 4 月法国国家太空研究中心发射的 MICROSCOPE 卫星利用其搭载加速度计测量材料的质量，测试弱等效原理。现在研究人员根据卫星数据公布了首个结果，以 10 倍于以往实验的精度证实了等效原理。研究人员还准备将精度再提高 10 倍，如果等效原理在这个精度上仍然获得证实，那么这将使得一部分量子引力理论无效。这颗卫星还具有自毁机制。
