消息称苹果 12.9 英寸 iPad Air 平板有望使用 Mini-LED 显示屏
据研究公司 DSCC 首席执行官 Ross Young 透露，12.9 英寸 iPad Air 预计将于 5 月发布，将配备与当前 12.9 英寸 iPad Pro 型号一样的 Mini-LED 显示屏。
目前，现有的 10.9 英寸 iPad Air 配备了传统的 LCD 面板，改用 Mini-LED 技术将增加 HDR 内容的亮度、更深的黑色等。另一个好处是，Mini-LED 显示屏将带来更低的功耗。苹果在最新的 12.9 英寸 iPad Pro 机型以及 MacBook Pro 笔记本上均使用了 Mini-LED 显示屏技术。
作为参考，在售的 12.9 英寸 iPad Pro 采用 2D 背光系统，具备 2596 个全阵列局部调光区、2732 x 2048 像素分辨率、264 ppi，支持 ProMotion 自适应刷新率技术。此外，该屏幕的峰值亮度达到 1600 尼特（仅限 HDR 内容）。
2024 年春季的新产品包括配备 OLED 显示屏和 M3 芯片的 iPad Pro、新的 Apple Pencil 3，不过此前有消息称苹果并不会特意举行发布会，而是直接发布新品。
