根据外媒报道， 大众汽车最近宣布与以色列自动驾驶公司Mobileye合作，共同着手研发L4级自动驾驶技术， 并计划成为首家将这一级别自动驾驶班车投入批量生产的汽车制造商。
据悉，大众的首款L4级自动驾驶车辆将以ID.Buzz为基础进行打造。
大众自动驾驶部门的负责人克里斯蒂安·森格表示， 他们正在致力于开发第一辆完全自主的大规模量产车，并将采用Mobileye的数字驱动程序。
该系统将始终连接到互联网，以获取其他道路使用者的群体数据，并监控其视野之外的情况。
为了确保车辆能够随时形成周围环境的360度图像， 该车将搭载13个摄像头、9个激光雷达传感器、5个雷达单元以及2台独立的高性能计算机。
大众汽车预计，ID.Buzz AD自动驾驶版将从2026年开始在道路上投入使用。
