Former MIT professor Neri Oxman admits to plagiarism in academic works
- Neri Oxman, a former MIT professor, admitted to plagiarizing from other scholars and Wikipedia in her dissertation and other academic papers.
- Business Insider found 28 instances of plagiarism in Oxman’s work, including lifting text from more than a dozen Wikipedia articles without citation.
- Oxman’s husband, billionaire Pershing Square Capital Management founder, termed plagiarism a ‘very serious’ offense and pledged to conduct plagiarism reviews of MIT’s leadership.
