a narrative game

Today's game is 80 Days, a narrative game based on the classic Jules Verne novel. In the game you're going around the world and have to manage things like your time, your finances, luggage, and have to impress your rich boss.
I didn't like having to choose things like do I buy a bottle of wine in Paris, or explore around which takes more time. Money is tight so you can buy things to sell later, but no way of knowing what. It's not like a normal text adventure where you have all the time and your choices don't have too much unknown consequences so it's just giving me anxiety.
Quick post because I didn't do it earlier, and I have dog training to get to.
