近日，基于元宇宙平台 Roblox 的教育科技初创公司 Kinjo 完成 650 万美元种子轮融资。
本轮融资由 LiveOak Venture Partners 领投，Silverton Partners、Breyer Capital 和 Roble Capital 等参投。该初创公司计划利用这笔资金在 YouTube、Minecraft 和其他流行在线平台上提供产品。
Kinjo 由教育科技资深人士 Charles Thornburgh 和 Laura Malcolm 创建，是一款旨在让屏幕时间学习变得有趣且有益的应用程序。目前大约有 2 万名玩家。
Kinjo 通过连接元宇宙平台 Roblox 让孩子们可以通过玩、学习、游戏来赚取名为 Robux 的虚拟货币，并根据学习效果进行评分，游戏获得的火焰排名越高，孩子在 Kinjo 应用程序中获得的积分就越多。然后，这些积分可以兑换成 Robux。“
该公司后续还计划将其教育价值评分系统拓展至《堡垒之夜》（Fortnite）和《我的世界》（Minecraft）。
