AI 芯片制造商 Graphcore 面临裁员、亏损扩大等困境，拟融资求生
据 IT 之家援引彭博社 10 月 6 日报道，被广泛视为“英国英伟达”的 AI 芯片制造商 Graphcore 表示，亏损连连之后，公司需要筹集资金来保证持续运营。报道称，Graphcore 周三向英国有关机构提交了 2022 年账目文件，其中透露该公司正与潜在投资者进行谈判，但尚未达成协议。
目前，该公司税前亏损比相比去年同期扩大了 11%，达到 2.046 亿美元，年末现金和短期投资为 1.57 亿美元。此外，该公司还关闭了在挪威、日本和韩国的办事处，截至去年年底员工人数从 631 人减少至 494 人，收入下降了 46%。据称，造成收入下降的原因是大规模的订单延迟。
