Signal Processing Engineer with C++

Are you a signal processing engineer willing to improve people’s lives? The Digital Healthcare division at Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) is looking for an experienced Signal Processing Engineer to join our Medical Products Group in Valencia, Spain. We’re looking for an analytical, detail-oriented teammate with demonstrated experience in researching, developing, and testing new algorithms and data analytics for ADI’s medical products. In this role, you will collaborate with system, and QA engineers to develop algorithms through the complete product life cycle of medical products, from conception to deployment and maintenance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop signal processing algorithms for deriving medical parameters from raw electrical signals
  • Design and develop data analysis tools for deriving insights from clinical data

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or other related fields
  • Python and C++ programming skills
  • 10+ years of algorithm development experience in the medical space
  • Strong background in data science
  • Strong statistics knowledge
  • Strong signal processing expertise (Time-Frequency analysis, FIR/IIR filters, statistical analysis etc.)
  • Strong understanding of systems physiology
  • Experience working with healthcare providers and medical research professionals

Nice to have:

  • Work experience in fast paced/start-up environments
  • Experience collaborating with globally dispersed project teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
  • Experience/working knowledge of a variety of programming languages (Python, Matlab, C/C++, etc.)
  • Working under medical device design controls and Quality management systems
  • Experience with medical device standards
