据 Foresight News 报道，法庭文件显示，美国证券交易委员会（SEC）寻求修改其针对基于区块链的文件共享网络 LBRY 的 2200 万美元处罚，要求法院对其处以 111,614 美元民事罚款。法庭文件显示，SEC 认为，LBRY 已停止运营，没有资金支付更高的罚款，因此降低罚款金额。
此前报道，2022 年 11 月，美国新罕布什尔州法官裁定，LBRY 违反证券法，在没有向 SEC 注册的情况下出售其原生 LBC 代币。12 月，LBRY 表示，公司或将倒闭，预计 SEC 将罚款约 2000 万美元。
