The Festival of Legends arrives in Hearthstone's Battlegrounds Season 4

Based on heroes from World of Warcraft, the collectible card game Hearthstone is about to see its Battlegrounds mode join the current expansion, Festival of Legends, in Battlegrounds season 4 starting on 10 May. The new hero Rock Master Voone is headlining, with 58 musical minions in his entourage and a truckload of Festival-themed cosmetics.
Hearthstone's current expansion sees the heroes of Azeroth destroying their enemies with musical accompaniments and entourages, and now the crazy mayhem fun comes to the Battlegrounds eight-player mode too. As always, this brings new minions, gameplay changes, and more, all in Battlegrounds season 4.
Specifically, 58 new minions across every type have arrived in the Battlegrounds to harmonise their sound in your composition. Festivalgoers will notice a good deal of demons that are even bigger in size, some mechs more magnetic than ever before, and murlocs that not only buff your board but also your hand!
Additionally, the season brings a new hero, Rock Master Voone. This is a festival headliner you won’t want to miss, Rock Master Voone carries an Upbeat Harmony passive Hero power: at the end of every third turn, the left-most card in your hand is automatically duplicated. Keep count to make sure you optimise that free duplication!
Voone’s not the only upbeat artist hitting the stage. “Upbeat” minions are minions that have special effects that trigger every few turns that they’re in play. The longer you have them in play, the more times their effects trigger. These minions really put the band in your warband!
In a big shake-up to gameplay and strategy, the keyword poisonous is now venomous. Whereas a poisonous minion was a heavy-hitter destroying any minion it dealt damage to, venomous will instead only destroy the first minion it deals damage to.
And, for that special bit of extra bedazzling, you can amp up your Battlegrounds experience with new cosmetics. Showcase your favourite hero’s preferred musical genre, get your photo taken with a new paparazzo bartender, and set up a brand-new Festival board. Cosmetics will be available in the Battlegrounds Battle Pass Bundle and in the Battlegrounds shop.
