树莓派推出 Global Shutter Camera 相机模块，售价 50 美元。 Global Shutter Camera是全局快门相机模块，工作原理是将每个像素与一个模拟存储元件配对，光信号可以被所有像素同时捕获和存储。在拍摄体育运动或者快速移动的物体时，避免出现物体失真现象。

Global Shutter Camera采用 6.3mm 的索尼 IMX296 传感器，使用 C/CS 镜头卡口，可以安装 6 毫米 CS 卡口和 16 毫米 C 卡口 CGL 的镜头。
