碳链价值APP讯，据 Forkast 报道，日本游戏巨头 Square Enix 正在开发多款基于公司知识产权的区块链游戏，并将于今年发布。该公司的总裁 Yosuke Matsuda 重申将区块链技术与电子游戏融合的承诺。
据悉，Square Enix 制作了《最终幻想》和《王国之心》等世界知名游戏，截至 2022 年 3 月 31 日，Square Enix 录得 3652 亿日元（28 亿美元）的净销售额。2022 年 11 月，Square Enix 宣布推出首款 NFT 游戏 Symbiogenesis。但 Square Enix 粉丝一直不满该公司采用区块链技术，理由是对数字资产的不信任、对该技术潜在环境危害的担忧以及区块链游戏的低质量。（Forkast）
