Boost Mobile is one of the more popular MVNO carriers around, offering subscribers flexible and super affordable data plans, T-Mobile coverage, and loads of bang for the buck. They've also got tons of compatible smartphones, so we've gathered a few of our favorites below.

Get great coverage with a great device at Boost

Samsung's newest flagship series consists of three devices — the Galaxy S22, the S22 Plus, and the S22 Ultra. Suffice to say, all three of these phones deserve a spot on any list of the best Android phones, and they're also all compatible with Boost Mobile. 

The standard Samsung Galaxy S22 is small but mighty, boasting a gorgeous 6.1-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, great camera software, and the same internal hardware found in the S22 Plus and S22 Ultra. The S22 will also get the same four Android OS updates as its siblings, and while the 3,700mAh battery leaves a little to be desired, you can't beat the S22 if you want a feature-packed compact phone.

The Galaxy S22 is also a great choice if you're switching to Boost since the MVNO carrier often includes the flagship device in its best deals. With a retail price of around $799.99, it's not unusual to find an S22 deal that drops the price of the phone to $350 or less.

We chose the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G as the best cheap Android phone that money can buy, and it's not hard to see why. At just $499.99 retail, you're getting a reliable device with a vibrant 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display and a Exynos 1280 CPU octa-core processor that keeps it running smooth as butter. The 5,000mAh should easily last over a day on a single charge, and the 64MP camera can hold its own, even if it's not quite as impressive as what's found in its most direct mid-range rival, the Google Pixel 6a. 

Boost Mobile loves to include the Galaxy A53 in its regular lineup of deals, so if you're a member and interested in the A53, check with the carrier first to see if you can save some cash on your purchase. Right now, for example, new customers who join Boost can save a whopping $300 on the phone. It's also worth noting that retailers like Amazon and Best Buy are known for discounting their unlocked A53 stock, especially around the holidays, so there are always a ton of opportunities to save.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 joined Boost's lineup of compatible devices back in September, and we couldn't be happier with the news. The Flip 4 is perhaps our favorite foldable of all time, offering a one-of-a-kind user experience in a practical and efficient package. 

The phone boasts an ultra-powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor for outstanding performace, plus you're getting a stunning 120Hz AMOLED foldable display, flagship-quality cameras, and a large 3,700mAh battery that'll easily last over a day on a single charge. It also has the same relatively affordable $999.99 price tag that was attached to the Z Flip 3, so you can easily pair the phone with one of the best Galaxy Z Flip 4 deals to unleash some seriously huge savings.

If you're shopping for a smartphone on a budget and don't mind something simple, the Moto G Pure is a solid choice. Sure, it lacks the premium specs found in other devices on this list, but the Pure's internal hardware is solid enough to handle most basic tasks, in addition to regular calls and texting. 

It also has a reliable 4,000mAh battery that should last up to two days on a single charge depending on usage. Perhaps best of all, the Moto G Pure has a 3.5mm headphone jack, which might be worth the price tag alone these days.

At a retail price of around $129.99, the Moto G Pure is nearly as cheap as it gets, but it's not unusual for Boost Mobile to slap on a deal that drops the phone to $80 or less if you're a new customer.

Motorola phones are often very hit-or-miss for us, but the Moto G Stylus came as a pleasant surprise. The phone hit the scene with some pretty great-for-the-price Qualcomm Snapdragon hardware, plus NFC, a large 5,000mAh battery, and yes, a built-in stylus. 

That last feature is usually only found on pricier Android phones, so stylus enthusiasts on a budget will find a lot to love about this phone. That being said, if you're passionate about taking selfies or you love streaming TV shows and movies on your phone, you might want to look elsewhere. The cameras here aren't great, and the LCD display isn't as bright as we would like (although the 120Hz refresh rate makes up for some of that).

Regardless, with the Moto G Stylus, Motorola has produced a device that most folks would enjoy using at a reasonable price that we can all appreciate.

Of course, if you want a built-in stylus and the price isn't an issue, you really can't beat the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. This device is peak Android technology, boasting a bold and beautiful design and chock-full of more power and premium features than you'll know what to do with. 

In addition to being Boost Mobile-compatible, the S22 Ultra comes with a large 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display constructed from durable Gorilla Glass Victus+ materials, plus outstanding cameras and a large 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging. The integrated S Pen is also a great addition, fitting seamlessly in the body of the phone and offering a genuine pen-to-paper sensation.

With its starting price of around $1,199.99, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is far from cheap, so see if you can find a great S22 deal at Boost or elsewhere if money is an issue. Either way, this premium phone is too good not to mention on this list.

Choose the right Boost Mobile phone for you

Despite all of these recommendations, at the end of the day, you need to pick the Boost Mobile phone that works for you. We chose the Samsung Galaxy S22 because of its balanced design and the popularity of S22 deals, but any phone in that flagship series would be an excellent choice.

If you prioritize cutting-edge design in your devices, you really can't go wrong with the Galaxy Z Flip 4, while the Galaxy A53 and Moto G Stylus are two great options for any shopper on a budget. 

No matter which phone you choose, Boost Mobile simplifies your wireless service by offering great coverage at a lower price. Yes, not every phone is compatible with the carrier, but the money you save on your data plan will make it easier to afford the phone you really want. And of course, since Boost is a prepaid carrier, you can cancel your service at any time if it's not working out. Just be sure to transfer your number before your existing contract runs out, or else you risk losing it.
