不久前，腾讯QQ项目组曾发布预告，宣布QQ for Linux新版本即将开启公测。
现在，
新的Linux版QQ已经开启公测，不过目前仅支持x86架构，arm64架构还仍在适配中。
与此前极为简陋的Linux版QQ相比，新的版本和此前的macOS版本一样基于Electron框架， 理论上支持所有Linux发行版系统。
在UI上，新版本采用了与微信相似的三栏式设计，整体更加简洁现代化，功能也更加齐全。
