Notion, the all-in-one workspace for teams, announced this month the launch of Notion AI, an advanced artificial intelligence platform designed to help you work faster, smarter, and more productively. The app is now in the private alpha version, and you can join the Notion AI waitlist.

What you will be able to do with Notion AI?

According to the video and the website Notion launched, the main features of the app will be:

Writing

Using Notion AI will enable you to get assistance with your writing without spending hours writing content from a blank page. The AI model will create the first draft for you, so you can work from something that exists rather than an empty page.

For example, Imagine you need to write a blog post but feel blocked and don’t know what to write about, you can type what you want to write about, and the Notion AI will generate a blog post for you.

Brainstorm ideas

Type something like Give me ideas to write social media posts about design and Notion AI will generate a list of ideas for you.

Summarize

The app will allow you to take the main points out of a long text and summarize them in a way that you find most useful.

Spellcheck & grammar fix

You wrote an article, and now you want to check if there are spelling and grammar errors. You can ask it from the app, and Notion AI will correct your text within seconds.

Do a translation

Want to translate some text? You don’t need to worry about it, just ask Notion AI, and it will take care of it for you.

How much will it cost?

According to the Notion AI website, the Alpha version is free for now.
