网易数码讯 2022年10月，国家市场监督管理总局、国家标准化管理委员会正式批准发布GB/T 18801-2022 《空气净化器》国家标准，并将于2023年5月1日开始实施。该方法框架与戴森POLAR（Point Loading and Auto Response）测试方法相通，为新国标“自动模式”附录提供科学参考。
戴森在2017年开发了POLAR测试，并基于此测试于2018年与中国家用电器研究院（CHEARI）共同开发“射流式自动空气净化送风系统”技术方案，随后该技术方案于2019年被升级为“空气净化器智能模式技术要求及试验方法”团体标准。
相比于传统测试，戴森工程师在更接近平均居住空间的一个81立方米的实验室内开展POLAR测试。在不安装附加混流风扇的情况下，将空气净化设备放置在一角，并采用9个传感器持续监测整屋的空气质量数据，评估空气净化设备的过滤表现、传感性能以及整屋均匀净化效果。测试能够全面、有效地保障真实家庭环境中整屋空气质量的洁净与健康。
