Try on 500+ lifelike products using augmented realityHi Product Hunt

Alper here from QReal - back on August 28th, 2017, I started receiving an unexpected number of visitors / downloads for our Kabaq AR Food app. Shortly we realized that No:1 hunter Chris Messina hunted us on Product Hunt. It was a notable day for our small team of 3. We received mostly constructive feedback and a good number of companies who were interested in learning more about our product.

Fast forward 5 years and our team grow to over 120 individuals without a sales/marketing team. We got listed on NASDAQ with VRAR ticker with our group company, The Glimpse Group.

It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows; We definitely had hard times during Covid when most of our client work got canceled/put on hold. We had enough time to think and plan for the future and we saw an opportunity for growing e-commerce and brands wanting to create closer relations with consumers through online channels. We start working on a product idea for a pure-play AR shopping app that was multi-brand, multi-category, and used the best tech available to showcase the power of 3D models and VTO.

Beautiful and on time were our only mottos for QReal for years - we delivered over 800 AR experiences / 3D projects to the best companies in the world. We put all our 3D modeling, design, and software skills into creating TRYO.

While online sales accounted for $1.050 trillion of total U.S. retail sales last year, approximately $218 billion of online purchases were returned, as it’s difficult for shoppers to truly know how an item will fit or look without first trying it on. This is about to change with TRYO.

TRYO provides users a one-stop shopping experience with the ability to virtually try on footwear, watches, hats, and eyewear, with new brands and products added weekly.

3D adoption has been slowed by large upfront costs to produce high quality models. TRYO’s library of ultra-realistic branded items will significantly lower the costs for any brand or retailer wanting to adopt 3D on a product display page or wanting to offer virtual try-ons.

Not only do we want to change the future of shopping and make it more fun and easy for consumers, we want to show brands how easy it could be to embed a virtual try-on experience into their own websites. It may seem like a daunting task, but we’re able to do it. TRYO shows it can be done.

Eye it. Try it. Buy it. TRYO. Available on the App Store or to view the 3D models in the digital showroom, visit tryo.io.
