Hello Product Hunt! I'm Michal, and I work at theLivingCore knowledge and innovation architects - a multidisciplinary group of cognitive scientists, sociologists, philosophers, and designers in Vienna, Austria.

I have heard you like valuable and inspirational books, and I think you might also like our project - especially if you're a founder or leader.

After the pandemic, we saw a massive shift in people's priorities, as they realized that life could be short and wanted to enjoy it in a meaningful way. In a recent Gartner poll, 65% of people said they have reevaluated the place work plays in their lives.

As we work a lot with company owners and managers, we started getting a lot of questions from them:

- "How do I get employees back to work? Back to the office?" - "How do I attract and retain talent when people can now work remotely for any company in the world?" - "What should I do to navigate these changes and be ready for the future?"

At the same time, we saw that many discussions around these topics were quite shallow. People were debating how many days of home office employees should get or what benefits are now good for making them satisfied.

We wanted to look deeper, so we reached into our 10+ years of working with organizations, decades of university research, and interviews with our partners and friends.

From this process, we created a new framework of enjoyable work that is built on six key qualities:

1. Self-determination 2. Presence 3. Playfulness 4. Goal orientation 5. Authenticity 6. Purpose

And in our book, we describe why you should care about them, what they mean, and how to put them into practice in your company.

You can download the book for free from https://www.enjoyable-company.org

Let me know what you think about it. My colleagues and I will be happy to answer your questions and read about your own stories of work enjoyment!

Michal
