Hi everyone!

I've been (very) intermittently working on NumPad for 3 years now, so I'm very pleased to be launching it today.

NumPad is my take on a Soulver-like calculator. It's web based, has support for multi-cursor editing and has great support for calculations that involve physical units, percentages, dates, times and currencies. I've got a long to-do list which includes:

* Autocomplete * Support for multiple documents * Vim mode * Support for different bases (e.g. binary, hex etc.) * Time zones * Totals and averages * Dark mode

I'll be hanging around on this thread today so let me know if you have any feedback or suggestions.

I don't know how you did it, but that is something that I have been looking for. Can we also solve equations e.g. 3*x-4=22?

@naveed_rehman Glad you like it! I started going down the rabbit hole of writing an equation solver, but it was just that: a rabbit hole. So I gave up, but it will probably be something I tackle in the future.

In the meantime: x = 8.66, recurring of course.

i wrote a php script back in 2013. still available but runs on php 5 only. chk phpEquatins (link at naveedurrehman.com). i used newton raphson method of differentiation. it is used by matlab n EES. thanks for the answer 😊
