Hi Everyone! I’m Sagar, founder of Chatnaut. Our main goal at the startup is to change the attitude of organizations towards their deployment on cloud. I started this project to overcome the bulkiness of AWS and other cloud platforms who are confusing starters with tons of documentations and unwanted services that eventually ends up with high operational costs and loss of valuable hours. Chatnaut is all about making cloud simple and to achieve this we came across building our own open-source virtualization and containerization solutions. Out of which is Arclight, an open-source KVM/Qemu based hypervisor, designed to be a easy-to-use management platform allowing users to create and manage instances (VMs) on Linux servers deployed either on cloud or in home labs.

Arclight Features: -Simple and Minimalist UI -Create virtual machines, supports guest images running linux, windows, unix and custom image. -Nested virtualization including Bare-Metal provisioning (VMs inside VMs). -Create private and public networks for your VMs. -Create storage pools. -Create volumes for your VMs. -Create snapshots. -Upload Custom ISOs and Qcow2+raw images. -Provide a web interface for your Host server. -Integrated monitoring. -In-Built SSH client and VNC console to manage VMs. -Enterprise feature includes Cluster management, GPU and vGPU slicing and hot-Swapping, Load balancing, mac instance provisioning and fully-managed deployments on Chatnaut Cloud (in-progress).

Why KVM/Qemu? Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using KVM as the hypervisor for its Compute Engine to provision virtual machines. So why aren't we ?

Hope you like what we've developed. We're excited to get more feedback and ready to answer all of your questions.
