谷歌地图街景功能将在印度上线，数据由当地公司收集
据路透社7月27日报道，谷歌一位高管表示，公司将与两家印度公司合作在当地推出街景服务。
这两家公司分别是信息技术公司Tech Mahindra以及3D地图内容和地理空间解决方案公司Genesys。谷歌表示，数据收集完全由当地合作伙伴进行，服务将于今年年底在印度50个城市推出。
此前，印度政府已安全原因为由拒绝谷歌在当地推出这项能够显示道路等全景图像的服务。早在2011年，谷歌在印度南方城市班加罗尔从事试验性街景拍摄时，就被当地警方阻止。
2016年，印度安全部门拒绝谷歌街景将印度纳入谷歌地图的街景服务。当时，印度政府高级官员表示，印度政府最大的顾虑是敏感国防设施的安全，一旦包含印度地面图景的谷歌街景服务上线，当局很难监控，而这有害国家安全。
