Auto-login into websites right from Slack!Hi everyone!

Channy & Ike from Team PlusIdentity here, and we're on a mission to become the security stack for tech companies, starting with a password manager for startups. Now for those of you who are already using our Slack app + web app, the number one thing we've been hearing from you is that you want a browser extension. And so without further ado, we're super excited to share with you the PlusIdentity Browser Extension!

🚀 What's new? 🚀

With the PlusIdentity Browser Extension, you can (at no additional cost): - Launch websites and auto-login right from your Slack workspace - Auto-login through complicated login flows (we manually keep track of each website's login flow) - Toggle between auto-login and autofill modes

🤷 How is it different from other password managers out there? 🤷

The PlusIdentity Browser Extension provides features such as auto-login and autofill, as well as detecting and suggesting user actions such as adding/editing login credentials & requesting access. Instead of utilizing a heuristics based approach for these functionalities, however, we actually manually keep track of how each supported website (startup tools) designs their login flow, to get it right each time and bring you that super seamless auto-login experience. Here, we literally make a note of where the input fields and submit buttons are on these web pages. Of course, this is only possible because we have our laser focus on startups and startups only.

🔐 What is PlusIdentity? 🔐

For those of you who are not familiar with us, PlusIdentity is a password manager built for teams, and it lives on your Slack workspace. It's super easy to install and start using, and it's free for teams of less than 10. If your team is on Slack and you don't already have a password manager, you should definitely be using PlusIdentity.

* NOTES ON SECURITY: Our security practices deploy the highest industry cryptographic standards: PBKDF2 (101,004 iterations) and HKDF for key derivation, AES-GCM for symmetric encryption, and RSA-OAEP for asymmetric encryption, all utilizing the Web Crypto API. As part of our zero-knowledge infrastructure, all protected data must be encrypted client-side before reaching our servers, and a user's master password plus any of its derivatives never gets sent to our servers. PlusIdentity is SOC 2 Type II compliant.
