That's correct. There is no way to contact speaker through Sessionize, although speakers put their social profiles there, so they can be contacted indirectly.
We're thinking about direct contact for a while, but to be honest - afraid that speakers would be spammed through it.
maybe offer it as an opt-in scheme? rate-limit number of speakers that an event can spam?
how hard can that all be? "it's just a button!" ;)
I don't run an event with precons but I do run events where we are VERY aware of diversity & inclusion

Sessionize is the defacto solution for session management, so adding this is key
I agree. As I talk with organizers, finding a pool of candidates is hard. Both for topics needed and DEI issues.
I know A LOT of people and I struggle to think of a pool in certain topics or grographies.
