Maybe not as slow as a old dog lol.
But v a 14“ Pro 16/1TB that I tried it was.
Am thinking of selling it off and getting a 16” 16/512 MacBook Pro. My iMac is the 8/512gb.
Anyone else done that?

Hello,
Well I also have a 24" iMac (8/256) as well as the new MacBook Pro (16/512).
While I would not say that the iMac is "a slow old dog", it is clear that it looks slower once you've tried the new MacBook Pro. So much so that I prefer using the MacBook Pro rather than the iMac!

Do you have the 16”? I only compared the 14” so the 16” would be even faster?Hello,

The pro motion makes a huge difference too imo.
Honestly, I did not try the 14-inch model so I could not tell you! I can only confirm that the 16-inch model is indeed much faster than the iMac 24".Do you have the 16”? I only compared the 14” so the 16” would be even faster?
