We've been using Weld at Corti for a couple of months now and are very happy with both the product and the collaboration with the team.

Before deciding to build our BI capabilities with Weld I evaluated a number of other options and in the end determined Weld to be the best both because the tool enabled us to have the flexibility and robustness we needed to define our metrics and add new data sources in the future, and I knew we could rely on a strong data engineering team from Weld to help set everything up.

We are now up and running with out dashboard showing our commercial performance, with the whole company having access to them and key stakeholders using them daily to steer the team and make decisions.

Highly recommend this product!

@anna_anttila Thanks for the support! We're so excited to be working with you and have lots of features in the pipeline that I think you will find cool, such as end-to-end observability of the data stack.

All the best to you and the team Talk soon!

Hi, I’m Jake. 😊

A few years ago while working at a fast-growing SaaS company, my colleagues and I ran into a problem. We were working hard to unify data from 100+ SaaS tools, databases, and spreadsheets in order to get real commercial value from our company data — but we quickly realized this was much easier said than done.

Caught in the complexity of a disconnected data stack (we implemented over 10 new data tools), our data team started to get confused and forgot why we started the data journey in the first place. The goal became to build a working “stack” and not to bring business value.

This is why we decided to build Weld, a complete data platform to run your company’s core data operations from one single place, built on top of your data warehouse. With Weld, you get 3 different systems in one:

1. ELT: Sync data from various sources into your data warehouse through the pre-built connectors and custom sync configurations – up to every minute 2. Data modelling: An in-app modelling tool with smart autocomplete, version control, lineage, templates and a best-in-class collaborative SQL editor. 3. Reverse-ETL: Activate your data through reverse-ETL to bring core data points from your models into your SaaS apps.

Our mission is to accelerate the road to trustworthy metrics and enable every company to make data-driven decisions.

Today, dozens of companies like Contractbook, Monta, Son Of A Tailor, Nøie, Seon, Juni, Soundboks and more are using Weld as their data platform, embedding data into how they do business and creating true data cultures across their teams.

@heyjakobcom Congratulations to the launch! Will try out the starter plan first! Out of curiosity, are iPaaS integrations on the roadmap, or will you focus on direct/native integrations?

Hey @torsten_p ! Cool, would love to hear your feedback once you try the product - and thanks for the question. We only focus on data warehousing & analytics, i.e. offering ETL, modelling and Reverse-ETL. For automation/iPaaS we recommend using e.g. Zapier, n8n or Tray.

However, if you have problems with "iPaaS spaghetti" or trusting the metrics you push around from tool to tool, I would recommend looking into a data warehouse solution as your source of truth.

Great product with even greater people behind it!

As a fast growing scale-up, Anyline has had problems making data-driven decisions in the past - due to a multitude of data sources and unaligned "truths".

We started our cooperation with Weld late last year and have since significantly improved our understanding of the sources we are dealing with.

Aside from being highly responsive and solution-oriented, the project team has been a pleasure to work with. Bringing a sound understanding to the table of how to look at data, they have also made a great effort enabling our own staff.

Looking forward to our cooperation and many more successfully implemented use cases!

@kathi_m Thanks so much for your nice comment. The whole team really appreciates it and are equally excited about all the future data use cases at Anyline!
