Exporting bookmarks from Firefox on your desktop is just as easy as importing bookmarks in Firefox. Here's how to go about it:

  1. Open the Firefox browser on your computer.
  2. Click on the hamburger menu in the top-right corner of your browser.
  3. From the menu, click on Bookmarks.

  7. Rename the file and click on Save.

How to Export Bookmarks From Firefox on Android

While you may be unable to directly export bookmarks in Firefox for Android, you can share your bookmarks to different locations, essentially creating a backup copy. Or, you can use a bookmark manager app for Android. To share a copy of your Firefox bookmarks on Android:

  1. Open your Firefox for Android browser.
  2. Tap on the three dots menu button in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap on Bookmarks. Here, you'll find your desktop bookmarks and your mobile bookmarks if you're signed in to your Firefox account.

Your exported Firefox bookmarks will be saved in an HTML file. If it contains sensitive information, make sure to save it to a secure location where you alone have access. You can also save it with a unique nondescript filename that doesn't draw attention.
