儒、释、道都有相应的「学」和「教」——「学」就是学问、学说、学科，是思想理论和实操方法；「教」则是教派，是信奉甚至迷信以「学」为基础且以相关人事物历史轶事构/编造出来的故事的人群。所以，信奉甚至迷信科学的人们形成了「科（学）教」。
