Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3, Z Flip3 gain new camera features with latest update
Samsung seeded a new software update to the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3, bringing new camera features to its latest foldables. Features already introduced in the Galaxy S22 like Night Photography in Portrait Mode and telephoto camera support in Pro mode are the key changes, as well as some third-party improvements.
Video calls on WhatsApp, Google Meets and Duo, Microsoft Teams, Facebook Messenger, Zoom, BlueJeans are now clearer, thanks to improved camera support by Samsung. The Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 also get the zoom-in and zoom-out tracking function of up to 10 people in a video, provided they are within five meters from the phone.
The update is seeding in Germany and Italy and is expected to reach other regions soon. The firmware version is F926BXXU1CVEB for the Fold3 and F711BXXU2CVEB for the Flip3, and can also be triggered manually in the Software update menu in Settings.
