CINNO Research产业资讯，据6月6日外媒报道，三星显示将供应苹果新一代iPad及MacBook用OLED(有机发光二极管)显示屏。
报道称，三星显示将在去年之前生产LCD显示屏的L8-1-2产线基础上构建8.5代OLED生产线，该生产线每月可生产15K玻璃基板。
据预测，这里生产的OLED面板将用于苹果iPad及MacBook。消息人士称：“三星显示将从明年开始订购8.5代生产线用生产设备。”
据悉，除三星显示外，LG显示也与韩国的OLED蒸镀设备企业Sunic System一同开发8.5代OLED设备。
据悉，苹果的OLED iPad有望最早在2024年或2025年上市。
