在 iPadOS 16 系统中，苹果终于为 iPad 引入了官方天气应用。自 2010 年初代 iPad 发布以来，一直没有自己的官方天气应用。在刚刚结束的 WWDC 2022 开幕演讲中，苹果分享了多张关于天气应用的截图。
该应用的背景反映了天气情况，还有一个大的统计仪表板。它基本上是 iPhone 的应用程序，但被放大到平板电脑大小。目前还不清楚为什么苹果花了 12 年时间才在 iPad 上添加天气应用，虽然迟到但对于消费者来说还是好的。 iPadOS 16包括很多新功能，包括新的协作功能。
